  3. accept ane of those niggling handheld torch things and fire the crap out of information technology...thats how i cleaned mine on my EX earlier i took it out....it was a a screen in my piping though

This is how i cleaned mine, but i did information technology because at that place was a mouse nest in it, but i would assume u will get the same outcome. first i got a nice burn down going in a large truck rim nosotros have for camp fires. and then i allow a squeamish set of coles assemble, then i put the pipe in it, and put a couple of peices on summit of it, and then walked away, and came back i hour later and information technology was red red, so i let information technology absurd alittle and sprayed it with the hose, and it worked awsome.

    Be Careful! I ws going through my manual and happened across the recommendation to clean the (stock) spark arrestor. Information technology seemed uncomplicated plenty, remove the 3 bolts at the finish of the exhaust and the whole associates slides out. Using a wire brush/water you can clean the arrestor.

    Here is the trouble - re-installing the assembly proved to be a claiming. I snapped one of the three bolts. I was using a 1/4 inch ratchet (not a 1/2 inch with a 3' breaker bar) and was being very, very conscientious. Anyway, two of the bolts are not all the style in - they are very tight only volition not go all the style in. The 3rd snapped. It sucks because it makes a whacky noise - kind of a tinny ringing sound.

    I was careful not to cross-thread. Don't know why this happened but I need to discover someone who has removed their stock exhaust and does not want information technology anymore...

  6. i took my spark arrestor out on my 91 stock 250x and it sounded similar crap, didn't run whatever better anyhow, i lost the bolts so i slid it back in and tack welded it on, works fine. and then a few weeks later i bought a cobra "jet" exhaust system to help it sell faster, cuz i desire to get rid of it, the frazzle sounds cool and has a bigger header, so it gave it a noticable difference, i had to become upwardly a few sizes on the principal jet tho, but for the price of the cobra i would say buy information technology, jus don't go with dg, you will loose peak hp.
