Can you repair a cracked crock pot?
There is no safe way to repair a Crock Pot that's cracked into multiple pieces at home, as no easily available glues are food safe at the heat that a slow cooker maintains while in use. But where glues fail, hot milk can fill a surface crack and create a bond that will last for a long time.
A cracked Crock-Pot insert can still be used if the insert is ceramic. These plastic liners are placed over the insert to make cleanup easier, but the liners can also be used to catch spills when using a Crock-Pot with a cracked insert. If the crack is rather large, it may be best to replace the insert.
